DONATIONS ARE NEEDED. PLEASE HELP!

As many of you know from my last blog that I am having medical challenges. This has happened in the midst of near success for getting Miracles Manor up and running. It is only a delay and God is in control so there is a reason. However, the medical expenses are costly and my current job does not offer benefits for any time away from the job. I have not worked since June 5 which is the reason for my request and plea for your kind and generous donations.

Surgery will be this Wednesday, July 22, at 2 pm. Along with your donations, please pray for a successful surgery and recovery.

The link for donations is: http://www.gofundme.com/ysvp7y4. We will be forever grateful.

Thank you so very much for what you do.

HELP AND PRAYERS

Miracles Manor Supporters and Followers:

Miracles Manor is progress is at a halt right now because currently I am in the hospital and due to go to surgery July 22. Doctors discovered “masses” on  my ovary. This has come at a time when we have located a great building and even funders willing to work with us on the project.

Yes, as difficult as it is for me, I need financial help in getting bills paid at the current location. Unfortunately, my position does not offer or pay any benefits. The last time I worked was early June and I was able to stay abreast of the expenses for Miracles Manor. Now it comes down to my asking for help.

There is a website set up where I am asking people to donate money. Please clink the link, donate, and share the link with your other contacts. Your donation is greatly needed and will be as greatly appreciated.

Challenges Come to Make Us Stronger

We know that on our journey fulfilling God’s purpose for our life, there will be trials. Many times we are not prepared for them yet they come anyway. My passion in life is to help females coming out of prison get back on the right track and make successes of their lives. Well, in the middle of finding a location and finding a funder, I started having medical problems that turned out to be several issues the main on being masses on my ovary resulting in my not working for three weeks to date and after the surgery, another six weeks of no work. No work, no money; no money, no bills can be paid.

Finding Your JOY

The Pursuit of Happiness is one of our inalienable right, is it  not? As I think about it, what is “happiness”. The root word for happiness is happen. So in order to be happy, something has to happen to make us happy. Conversely, if something does not happen the opposite is that we are unhappy. True Joy in life comes from knowing why we were put on this earth. That, of course, is a God-thing because there are no accidents, mistakes, oops, in God’s perfect plan. Each of us was created for a specific purpose. Why it even says that the devils was made to fuel the fire of hell.

So  finding your JOY is finding what GOD had in mind when He created you in your mother’s womb. That is a phenomenal journey and the destination is not the end but the beginning. Zig Ziglar said it best, ” the chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what you want most for what you want now.” Isn’t that the truth? We live in a world of “right now”, “instantly”, “fast paced”, so many of us trade that burning passion that God dropped in us for the temporal desires of NOW.

With JOY, nothing has to happen because it is from inside you. It is those times when you have listened to that inner voice and follow its direction.

My challenge to first myself and to you, is that you stop for a moment and listen to that still, quiet voice deep inside you and follow  that voice to your true passion in life. There and only there will you find your JOY.

I found my JOY in the establishment and creation of Miracles Manor, a home for females returning to society after incarceration. With GOD all things are possible.  The JOY of the LORD is my strength.

Be a blessing today because GOD blessed you when HE woke you this glorious morning.

LIFE AFTER INCARCERATION

The “GRADUATES” consists of females who were part of a drama group while incarcerated and chose to continue their craft in society for a two-fold purpose. 1) To hone their various artistic gifts, 2) To bring the “inside” story of incarceration and release to the forefront of society.

Our performances are factual accounts of the mountains and valleys of incarceration as well as those women face following incarceration. It was from these “war stories” that GOD revealed HIS purpose for my life-Miracles Manor.

Miracles Manor is a new home for women released from incarcerations and want a chance to build a better life for themselves, their families (80 % of incarcerated females are mothers), and ultimately, society.

The Graduates will be performing on February 28, 2015 at The Red Shoes from 7-8:30 pm.  Donation is $15. All proceeds will benefit Miracles Manor.

Plan to be part of the audience and join the Q and A following. There will also be two phenomenal speakers-also formally incarcerated females.
